Bridget FROST married into the O’Leary family: Arrived in colony as a free settler with her parents and three brothers on the FAIRLIE on 12 February 1837. Her father James and her brothers John, Michael and Patrick were listed as farmers or farm labourers, while Bridget was listed as a dairymaid. Her father James took up land at “Prospect HILL”, Wheeo, while her brother John and his wife Mary Anne were employed by Dr. Gibson. It is possible that Bridget also was employed by the Gibsons. As for the full Frost emigrant family, I have done little research. However I include a limited Descendant Report, perhaps with errors, certainly with omissions, here as it features so many Markham names…O’Leary, Daly, Markham, Wass, Slattery, Jordan, Nowlan, Fogg, Taylor etc.
